Sol Nueva Aurora is a Spiritual Shamanic Institute located in Uruguay. The place offers Ayahuasca retreats, Temazcal treatments, Kambo retreats, and tobacco ceremonies. They also aim to heal depression and drug addiction in this center. Their drug addiction treatment is recognized by the scientific community and even presented at international conferences (Ayahuasca and Dependency Treatment Congress in Sao Paulo, Brazil, September 2011, and Congress of Drug Abuse following the invitation of Centro Takiwasi, in the city of Tarapoto, Peru, October 2013).
The place was established in 2008 by Santos Victorino, who also is a shaman and facilitator of the retreats. He speaks Spanish and Portuguese, and there are translators for English and German. The retreat center is outside of Salto, a small city in Uruguay. There is one night, five nights, or nine nights options due to personal needs. The program also includes comfortable and cozy accommodations and vegetarian food. Participants can also bring their own tent, and accommodate there. They have various exercises they do before, during, and after the ceremonies.
They also provide workshops, such as the Mandalas workshop where participants express and reflect on their experiences in the ceremony. They also offer concentration exercises and guided meditation.
